Greetings from Metalheads Forever Magazine, how are you today?
Thank you very much, we salute you too! Hi, I’m Fabio, the guitar player and I’m very fine today.
You recently signed with Alpha Omega Management, how does it feel like to work with AO Management?
We’re very proud and excited to work with a great and big management such as AO – Alex Azzali and his young team are very professional and helpful for us and for our future plans…
You have planned to release “Temptation” in March 2019, How is the new album coming up so far?
We finished the album some time ago – but we had some personal problems so we decided to release the CD just in March…
What can the fan expect from this new album, what does the band offer for the fans in this upcoming album?
The trademark SKANNERS is guaranteed ! we have only used more current sonorities… the rest is to find out
What are the plans for 2019?
promote the new album all over the world !!!!!!
Back in the early 90’s you guys went on hiatus stating the popularity of Heavy Metal has decreased as Grunge was taking a huge part in the music world, What do you feel about the current situation on Heavy Metal?
Obviously SKANNERS belong to the old metal school – so we consider ourselves as almost pioneers of classic Metal music – but we are in favour of musical evolution and contamination.
nowadays we can taste the most different metal musical styles with lots of good metal bands but at the same time there is too much Junk.
Being one of the biggest heavy metal bands from Italy, how do you feel about the musical journey into 2019?
As I said before, we were pioneers of the Italian heavy metal wave and we are still here. We are honored to bring and share our music to all our fans, friends and to the new generations and we are very proud about it.
Did you guys face lots of obstacles in the early days of the band and how did you overcome it?
At the beginning of the 80s there were only few Heavy Metal Bands in Italy, that’s why we felt like pioneers driven by passion, by the desire to play together and to share feelings with our fans .
The technology and the equipment available were limited compared to today, the whole musical environment was moving more slowly –
we were lucky enough to have a manager who introduced us into the musical business .
Do you have a message for the readers and the fans of the magazine?
Thank you very much for your attention !!!
We are looking forward to seeing you on tour!!!!
